Energy Imbalance Market Draft Final Tariff Language, Meeting 2/10/14
The California ISO has posted draft final tariff language for the Energy Imbalance Market initiative. A stakeholder meeting is scheduled on February 10, 2014 to discuss the language. Please submit comments on the draft final tariff language by close of business January 31 and RSVP by February 6 if you plan to attend the meeting in person.
The ISO has posted draft final tariff language for the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) initiative to its website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/DraftFinalTariffLanguage__Redlined_EnergyImbalanceMarket.doc. The draft final language is posted in a redlined MSWord document to facilitate review of specific comments supported by proposed changes. Incremental changes are highlighted where existing tariff language was previously redlined so stakeholders can determine which existing ISO tariff provisions and definitions have changed since the first draft. A clean version of the revised draft tariff, except for changes to existing ISO tariff provisions and definitions as noted above, is also posted for stakeholders comments at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/DraftFinalTariffLanguage__Clean_EnergyImbalanceMarket.doc.
The changes in this draft language specifically address: (i) stakeholder comments; (ii) compliance and market changes to the ISO tariff proposed in response to Order 764; (iii) reconciliation of EIM defined terms and ISO tariff defined terms; and (iv) reconciliation of EIM requirements and ISO tariff provisions.
A stakeholder meeting is scheduled on February 10, 2014 to discuss the draft final tariff language.
