The California ISO has scheduled a general session meeting for the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Governance Review Committee on Aug. 2, 2021, to discuss the Part Two Draft Final Proposal on the Western EIM Governance. During this meeting, the Western EIM Governance Review Committee will take final stakeholder comment and will vote on whether to approve and submit the Part Two Draft Final Proposal to the Board of Governors and the Western EIM Governing Body for their consideration.

The Part Two Draft Final Proposal is available on the Western EIM Governance Review Committee webpage.
The Part Two Draft Final Proposal focuses exclusively on the Delegation of Authority for Market Rules to the Western EIM Governing Body, the Decisional Classification Process, and Durability. The Western EIM Governance Review Committee is proposing to submit their proposal to the Western Governing Body and the California ISO Board of Governors for their consideration during a special joint session meeting on Aug. 20, 2021. Details for that meeting will be communicated in a separate notice.
