The California ISO’s Board of Governors and the Western Energy Imbalance Market’s (WEIM) Governing Body have “joint authority” over a number of tariff changes that impact the energy imbalance market.
The initiative webpages on the WEIM website and the ISO website have been updated to show a classification, or designation, to identify the category of decisional authority that applies to each initiative. These designations are also available in the most recent paper for each initiative.
The website improvements display the definitions for the decisional authority designations at the bottom of the WEIM initiative webpage and as a “hover over” on the designation on the ISO Stakeholder Initiatives webpage.
With these improvements, we have removed the temporary decisional designations memo on the Stakeholder Initiatives webpage.
