The California ISO has scheduled a virtual public stakeholder meeting on Aug. 29, 2022, to discuss the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative revised straw proposal. Prior to the start of the EDAM meeting, the Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Governance Review Committee (GRC) will hold a public meeting from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. During the WEIM GRC meeting, committee members and stakeholders will discuss comments received on the EDAM governance straw proposal, published July 15. Additional details and call in information for the WEIM GRC meeting are available on the ISO calendar.
The revised straw proposal is scheduled for publication on August 16, adjusted from an original August 11 date. This proposal will describe the different elements of the EDAM design informed by perspectives shared through stakeholder comments on the straw proposal and collaborative stakeholder workshop discussions held July 11‑27.
During the virtual meeting, the ISO will discuss the different elements of the revised straw proposal in detail, and take clarifying questions from stakeholders. Stakeholders will also have an opportunity to submit written comments on the proposal, which will be due by close of business September 13.
