The California ISO has published the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) draft final proposal, which will be discussed at an upcoming stakeholder meeting, offered in-person and virtually, on Nov.14, 2022. Please note that the time of the meeting on November 14 has changed from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. In addition, the deadline for written comments on the draft final proposal has moved from November 30 to November 22 to facilitate the publication of a final proposal by December 7.
The draft final proposal is available on the EDAM initiative webpage, where the presentation materials will be posted prior to the upcoming meeting. The proposal describes the different elements of the EDAM design informed by perspectives shared through stakeholder comments on the revised straw proposal and collaborative stakeholder discussions in meetings held on August 29, September 7-8, September 14, and October 11.
Stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the meeting on November 14 to provide their preliminary feedback on the draft final proposal, and discuss the changes made in this revision of the proposal. Please register for the meeting no later than November 7. Early registration is encouraged since in-person capacity may be limited on a first come first serve basis.
The meeting will be recorded and the video files posted to the initiative webpage linked above for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only. Any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Comments on the EDAM draft final proposal are due by close of business November 22. Please use the online template available on the initiative webpage when submitting comments.
