In response to feedback from stakeholders, the California ISO has extended the deadline for written comments on the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Governance Review Issue Paper and Straw Proposal discussed during the December 20 stakeholder call. The submission deadline has been extended from January 11 to January 18.
The paper, available on the western EIM website at https://www.westerneim.com/Documents/IssuePaperandStrawProposal-EIMGovernanceReview.pdf, presents a straw proposal to address a discrete and narrow issue with the process of classifying policy initiatives that come before the EIM Governing Body for review. In addition, the paper seeks stakeholder input more generally on what additional items should be addressed in the EIM Governance Review and how the review should proceed.
