The Public Interest Group and Consumer Advocate sector has kicked off the process to identify and select a liaison to serve on the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Regional Issues Forum following Jennifer Gardner’s resignation. The California ISO is assisting this sector and will hold a public stakeholder call on Jan. 28, 2021, to discuss the nominees for the open position and review next steps.
The Regional Issues Forum is a venue to discuss and share opinions on issues regarding the Western EIM and relevant topics. Each sector of the forum has been tasked with selecting two liaisons whose roles are to organize and facilitate input and participation from their respective sectors on the topics and content of the forums.
The definition of this sector, as stated in the Western EIM Regional Issues Forum Operating Guidelines, is “organizations that represent end-use customers and organizations that represent other public interests”.
Interested parties should submit a statements of interest to nemam@caiso.com by Jan. 26, 2021. All materials will be available prior to the meeting on the dedicated Regional Issues Forum webpage at https://www.westerneim.com/Pages/Governance/RegionalIssuesForum.aspx.
