Generator Contingency and Remedial
Action Scheme (RAS) Modeling draft final proposal with
an added advisory role for the Energy
Imbalance Market Governing Body. Please submit comments on the
update by August 3,

MESSAGE
The California ISO has updated its
proposed plan for seeking approval and input on the Generator
Contingency and RAS Modeling initiative from the Energy
Imbalance Market (EIM) Governing Body.
The update reflects an added advisory role
for the EIM Governing Body for the design in the real-time
market.
The update will allow the ISO to get
advisory input from the EIM Governing Body on the initiative
in the real-time market, if the issue is not within the body’s
primary approval scope.
Please submit comments on the draft final
proposal advisory role update to initiativecomments@caiso.com by close of business August 3, 2017.
