The California ISO is offering a web-based training course on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, to review enhancements related to the Local Market Power Mitigation process.
Market participants will gain knowledge related to the enhancements that will be implemented to local market power mitigation (LMPM) processes, which include a new default energy bid option for hydro resources, a modified competitive locational marginal price calculation, and an update to the tariff to reflect current gas price publications for the real-time market.
The following topics will be covered in this training session:
- Enhancements to the real-time market related to the LMPM processing
- New master file options to limit transfers
- Market simulation scenarios and registration requirements for the new hydro default energy bid option
- Updates to California ISO Market Results Interface (CMRI) and Open Access Same-Time Information System (OASIS) reports
