This training will provide market participants with an understanding of how both the Bid Range Capacity (BRC) and Flexible Ramping Sufficiency Tests (FRST) will now independently evaluate and determine the EIM transfer limits at the 15-minute interval level. Participants will be provided an opportunity to preview added transparency to data presented in existing reports in Open Access Same-time Information System (OASIS) and Customer Market Results Interface (CMRI).
In summary, the following enhancements will be covered in the web conference training session:
- Allowance of a tolerance threshold of 1% for the Flexible Ramp Sufficiency Test.
- Independent Bid Range Capacity and Flexible Ramping Sufficiency Test evaluations at a 15-minute interval basis (and BRC impacts to FRST results).
- Determination of EIM transfer limits based on 15-minute FRST results.
- Balancing Authority Area Operations Portal (BAAOP) display modifications for Resource Sufficiency Test status and Bid Range Capacity test detailed results.
- Transparency improvements provided for existing OASIS and CMRI Reports under the existing technical specifications.
More information about the project is available in the business requirements specification.
A video file recording of the webinar will be available within 3 business days in the ISO Learning Center.
