The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on Feb. 16, 2022, to kick-off phase 1B of the EIM Resource Sufficiency Evaluation (RSE) Enhancements initiative. A presentation will be posted on the initiative webpage posted prior to the call.
The objective of the phase 1B initiative is to continue to enhance the accuracy and equitable application of the RSE, as well as resolve any outstanding concerns that were raised by stakeholders in the phase 1 initiative. As part of the phase 1B initiative, the ISO will analyze the impact of load conformance on EIM transfers, the interplay of EIM transfers with hourly block exports, and the performance of the methodology to estimate uncertainty requirements.
