The ISO is hosting a public stakeholder working group meeting on October 10 to continue discussions on the issue paper and straw proposal for the Local Market Power Mitigation Enhancements initiative. The proposal was initially discussed during a stakeholder call on September 19.
The objective of the working group meeting is to go into a more in-depth review of the proposal including detailed examples. This initiative will also be presented to the Market Surveillance Committee at their meeting on Sept. 28, 2018. Details about that meeting will be provided in a forthcoming market notice.
An agenda and presentation for the October 10 working group meeting will be available prior to the event on the initiative webpage at the link above. Please include topic suggestions for the working group in your written comments on the issue paper and straw proposal, which are due to initiativecomments@caiso.com by October 3.
This working group meeting will be recorded and the video file will be posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time.
Please submit written comments on the presentation materials and working group discussion to initiativecomments@caiso.com by end of day October 17.
