The California ISO has implemented and activated Imbalance Conformance Enhancements, effective Feb. 27, 2019.
The Imbalance Conformance Enhancements implementation improves Real-Time Pre-Dispatch (RTPD), Real-Time Dispatch (RTD) limiter algorithm to better adjust for factors before and after conformance (including Variable Energy Resource (VER) deviations, other patterns observed from conformance studies, and after conformance value entered - ramping across multiple intervals rather than one interval).
