The California ISO’s Full Network Model build DB93/19M11 that was due to be released to production on Dec, 19, 2019 is delayed with a new target date of January 2020.
In order to ensure a quality model build, the ISO requires further testing cycles before implementing the first model build on its new Energy Management System platform. The ISO is committed to a release of DB93/19M11 no later than the end of January 2020 with an earlier target date of mid-January. The ISO will give market participants a one week notice prior to the production release date via market notice.
The ISO understands that this schedule change impacts customer projects and new resource implementations and therefore is committed to working with those customers to determine if any suitable alternative options exist between now and when the DB93/19M11 model is released.
We apologize for this inconvenience and are making every attempt to deliver a quality network model that will ensure the level of quality to maintain grid reliability as a priority as soon as possible.
Given the delay of DB93/19M11, there will not be a monthly release as planned on Jan. 23, 2020 or Feb. 20, 2020 as previously indicated in the Full Network Model schedule. Once the DB93/19M11 is released to production a new updated network model schedule will be developed and published.
