The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on January 30, 2015 to discuss the technical paper addressing energy transfer scheduling for the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Year 1 Enhancements initiative. The paper is available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/TechnicalPaper-EnergyImbalanceMarket-EnergyTransferScheduling.pdf.
The technical paper describes the distribution of EIM transfers to dynamic schedules on interties between balancing authority areas for tagging purposes. The EIM energy transfer is calculated by the real-time unit commitment and dispatch applications.
Please submit comments on the technical paper to EIM@caiso.com by close of business February 6, 2015.
