Summary
The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on August 13, 2015 to discuss the available capacity draft tariff language for the Energy Imbalance Market initiative. This call is for discussion purposes only.
Main Text
The ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on August 13, 2015 to discuss the available capacity draft tariff language for the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) initiative, which is available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/DraftTariffLanguage-EnergyImbalanceMarket_AvailableCapacity.docx. Please note this call is for discussion purposes only in compliance with FERC docket numbers ER15-OOO and EL15-53.
The ISO is preparing to comply with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission July 20, 2015 order directing them to file proposed tariff provisions in support of the ISO's proposal to implement a market enhancement, which addresses structural issues that artificially constrain the EIM. The ISO submitted its proposal to the Commission on April 23, 2015 in FERC Docket EL15-53-000.
