The California ISO has observed discrepancies between values in the Open Access Same-Time Information System (OASIS) and those utilized in forecasting the demand. This discrepancy in demand actuals has been seen across multiple dates and regions within the ISO and Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) areas. The largest discrepancy in values can be observed when the demand is ramping, for example when load is increasing between intervals, the OASIS value is higher and when decreasing, it is lower. The ISO is working on resolving the data issues and providing a backfill of corrected information following resolution.

The actual demand values are found on OASIS under the System Demand, CAISO Demand Forecasts, with the market/process filter of Actuals.
